As you are kind enough to visit my virtual home, let me introduce myself. You noticed my name, Willem Smouter. I was given this name shortly after my birth in 1957. I lived in Valthermond, Breda, Barendrecht, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Dalfsen, Rijswijk, Breukelen, Ede and now again in Apeldoorn, all of them villages and cities in The Netherlands. Right now I am a pastor of the Netherlands Reformed Churches in Apeldoorn.

Rev.Willem Smouter is my first cousin,we met in Vaasen in 1978 at the Vos family, who have since moved back to Canada. I listened to 4 of his sermons which I did enjoy. September 19th we as family,for the most part, will be leaving for Holland to enjoy a day of the Smouter reunion and help celebrate with my aunt “tante Marie” her 105th birthday,the Lord willing. May the Lord our God continue to Bless and keep us all in His care and in due time grant us His trveling Mercies on our trip to the Netherlands.May the Lord continue to bless your continued work.
